Revolutionary PureGym was founded in September 2008 in the UK by entrepreneur Peter Roberts after over 35 years property and leisure industry experience. His main goal was to settle a fitness gym chain that could remove the barriers to gym entry, allowing as many people as possible to exercise regularly.

As those barriers prevented people from joining a gym whenever they wanted to, Peter Roberts decided to revolutionize the gym industry by eliminating contracts, high membership fees and constraining opening hours. Then, after a lot of hard work, he finally end up by creating PureGym, a high-quality and low-cost gym chain with no contracts, low monthly fees and flexible 24/7 opening, offering the suppleness people needed.
